Jeg er rig, igen!
oktober 17, 2008
How not to make money online
september 12, 2008
I was wasting time on YouTube and found this video. Apparently there’s something called the reverse funnel system, design to make you, YES YOU, rich. The cute girl in the video seems really happy about it and claims to have made a lot of money from it. Of cause it’s completely bogus, but wouldn’t someone have to fall for the scam for the people behind it to make money? The cute girl, Katie, will tell you how much she loves the system and how it made her finacially independent and that’s without flashing her boobs. Small problem, she fails to explain what the devil this funnel system is and how it’s suppose to work. She seems happy though, but I would have preferred if she had flashed her boobs for money though.

Update:
Wow, there’s more of them
Amazing the shear amount of words involved in his “presentation” but he stil fails to tell me anything. I these people are willing to tell me how to make money online, why don’t they just tell me on a simple webpage?
The adult plan – porn feeds
september 9, 2008
Looking through the logs for my sites, I noticed that most of the search words are related to, well, adult content. Therefor I decided to try out how little adult content you need to produce traffic. Enter fuck.dugg.dk, I like that url. It will be interesting to see how much traffic I can generate. I guess it will take a while for it to get going, but will see, it can just sit there without any interaction from my part.
I haven’t dropped NetBudget.dk, but I am still waiting for Google and other search engines to pick up on the content.
NetBudget.dk – Your guide to finance
september 7, 2008
In my more or less headless quest to figure out how to make money doing absolutly nothing I’m launching a new site netbudget.dk.
It’s meant to be a finance site, not that I know anything about finance, so it will be interesting to see how well the articles will do. The articles will not be written by me, but be provided by article syndication sites.
I won’t be displaying ads until I have some traffic and I can see how well the articles are doing.
The domain could be better, but I had netbudget.dk already, originally bought for another project which never really got started.
I might need to look into some additional search engine optimization, perhaps a few blog ping services, but I’ll post more on that if it becomes relevant.
So that’s where I went wrong

Leave it to UserFriendly to remind me where I went wrong in my money making scheme.

Providing relevant content
august 10, 2008
I’ve only had Google Adsense on my site for one day, but going thourgh my logs and by using Google Analytics I’ve spotted a problem.
Most of my content is only relevant within a short time periode, which means that if I want a constant stream of trafic to my site I need to post new things all the time.
Advise number one for making money from Adsense: Write posts that remain relevant for a long time, so that these page will constantly be generating trafic. If you can manage to do so your trafic should keep growing overtime as each page will continue to be a source of trafic. If you only post stuff that is relevant within a week or perhaps only a few day, your trafic won’t build up, it will come in burst as you make new posts.
The problem is of cause: “How do I know what will remain relevant?”. Well, that’s the hard part, but I’m sure that commenting on current news stories won’t be relevant next month.
Get rich fast, with Adsense… well maybe not.

I thought I would try something, now that my blog is getting a small amount of trafic, something I never really quit understood: Is it possible to make ANY money with Google Adsense and how much trafic do you actually need?
Currently my blog uses the default WordPress theme, because I like the simplicity of it and because it support pretty much everything. Blogs shouldn’t be about fancy layouts and graphics anyway, they should be about content, something I completely lack. This makes my blog pretty much a standard blog, little or no relevant content and a limited amount of readers, so the perfect setting for testing the income for the average blogger.
It seemed silly to plaster my blog with ads, so I opted for something simple. There’s a small verical ad in the menu on the left and a horizontal ads on each post. This means that there is only ONE ads block on each page. I haven’t yet figured out how Google calculate how much you should be paid, but I believe that it’s a combination of pay per impression and pay per click, where clicks of cause generate the most money for me.
Let’s see if it generate any income for me, my best guess is: “Probable not”, I doubt that my 20 – 100 readers a day will generate anything impressive.
